My dad was a fantastic man. He was born the 4 youngest out of 5 children. His parents George and Alice had their hands full with him, being abit of a rogue when he was younger he kept them on their toes. My dad was a keen sportsman when he was younger, the likes of football and cricket being firm favourites. Being the 4th child of 5 being loud to be heard was common. He learnt to be quick witted and was born in a very close knit family. Younger brother Leslie, older brother William, sisters Jacueline and Patricia were amongst his most favourite people in the world. He studied to become a plumber at college and when he was 16 he met Sandra, who he later married when 22. 3 years later, I was born. After many years they divorced and my father later led a full bachelor life to the full. Although he left us of heart disease I often think was caused by him not being able to spend his last years with my mum, the love of his life.
